I was curious if anyone downloads steel pan music? I have over 1000 songs from different bands and orchestras as well as steel drum artists to. I'm looking in particular for I'm yours by Jason Mraz instrumental steel pan style. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I thought getting it on youtube might help, but all the videos aren't the best sound quality, and I'd rather have it from a cd of some kind anyway. All my steel pan music, I pay to download, so I don't care how much it would cost me to get a cd to download. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Plus if you know of any other sites that cell steel pan music besides amazon and EMusic and Itunes, please let me know.
Talk soon,
Angela

Thank you for your help. I don't want a synthesized version of a pan playing it though. I did find on youtube once, a steel band playing it, and it sounded good, but the sound quality was not the greatest. But I guess i could convert that to an mp3 if I can't find anything else. I do wish there was some kind of store like amazon that sold specifically steel drum music, and you can type in the song you're looking for and it would find it if it was in the catilog or something. I always thought that would be a great idea. And it'd all have to be real steel pans playing. I don't really like the synthesized sound much. But I thought, this song has been out for like 3 and a half years now, so I thought someone should've done it by now, but maybe in the future, who knows. But I'm always on the hunt for more pan music. And again, thanks for your help.
I have a feeling he didn't record an instrumental steel pan version; the steel pan version on youtube is actually a keyboard playing steel pan sounds. All of the recorded instrumental versions I have found do not have a digital steel pan on them.
