Gospel Pan my good man, sopranissimo, sopranino, sopranos all carry the melody, but not using the same notes example, let's say you're playing in the key of C, and the soprano starts on C, the sopranissimo should be on E, and the sopranino on G, it's like blending notes C E G instead of playing them single, this is Y theory derived the tenor range TO BE THE HIGHEST NATURAL ADULT MALE VOICE IN MUSIC, enough with the music lesson, U don't have to agree with me on anything, theory say's so, and that's the way IT IS, we the players from Pan Am North Stars and BWIA Sunjets, know much much more than just striking a note, the GOD OF PAN Anthony Williams, INSTILLED in us much more than the average panman... ...
Gospel Pan; WHY? the tenor range is the highest natural adult male voice which carry's the lead or melody, the tenor pan does the same, soprano's also carry's the lead, there's sopranissimo, sopranino, soprano and second soprano, before the tenor pan there was the "kittle then the ping pong", Y fix something that it is not broken, the men who derived these names knew what they were doing, for the purpose it was intended, U, need to know how to use it, in Pan Am North Stars we had all the 4ths & 5ths tenor's, using all the voices, the sopranissimo from E, the sopranino from D, the soprano from B, and the second soprano big tenor from A, the very same pan Brian Copeland claim to be his Genesis G-pan, as for Bradley, he was a good arranger, I knew him arranging for "ESQUIRES COMBO" back in the day, when it came to pan he was a bit incoherent, he had to go to Anthony Williams to get it right, do U remember the tune "The Greatest Love of all", on the bridge of the sound, doesn't the ARPEGGIOS sound like Pan Am recycled music ??? GUY'S JUST LEARN HOW TO USE THE INSTRUMENT CORRECTLY OK...
Gospel Pan, U R, the first to put rubber on the tips of his stick was "Alwyn "chick magoo" Springer, he was also the first to play with BOTH HAND'S while balancing the drum on BOTH KNEE'S, Ellie WAS NOT the first to do ANYTHING...

Renegades is playing 'Dr. Jit'; a composition of The Original DeFosto Himself. Amrit recommended this selection to the band even before the members had heard the tune. The band was leaning towards playing 'pan baby' but when they heard Dr. Jit, the decision was almost unanimous. If I may say so myself the calypso is a splendid tribute to Jit Samaroo, and Amrit in his arrangement has tried to interpirt Jit by including little samples of his father's past works including a little snipet of one of his Indian compositions
