Many years ago my captain said look at all the mas players outside waiting to jump up with us for last lap after playing big mas with their skimpy costumes. He then said we are not going back out for last lap. So said so done. Also members who practice hard with us and played in Panorama finals, on Carnival Tuesday morning they will pass in front of the pan yard when we are getting ready to come on the road dressed in Bikini ,beads, feathers, spears, shields, both male and female on their way to play big Mas and it is still happening.  How do you change that and bring More Steelbands on the road for Carnival ?
