Pan Lover François Lachèze

France - Many times in the arts you come across talent and work that are so compelling that words are not needed, and language is not a barrier. Indeed such is the case with the work of François Lachèze. François, who is a steelpan lover and former pan player has graciously agreed to allow When Steel Talks (WST) to spotlight his work, passion and love for the steelpan artform through his images. click for more

Art is my job effectively and U can imagine that 95% of my time is looking for work. That is more and more difficult but I fight. I resist. In this hell, pan and steeldrums are for me like a cause and I never think to mixe that with money. My Benefit is elsewhere. Enormous...
I Will change my mind if a compagny or a maecenas, a sponsor ask me something ( Are U ? ) and I think in this case I will work on a specific project, in situ, to built something new, rich of my experience and strong of this spirit.
( I hope U understand my french english. I hope U understand my point of view. )
