Rule -- 4.4.2 There are NO RESTRICTIONS on the number of bands players can perform with during the competition
A cursory check of major Panorama competitions in other countries revealed that other steelband associations had no hard-and-fast rule against players performing in multiple orchestras within a single competition. However there were instances of individual orchestras that prohibited their members from playing in other bands during the competition.

MTTB: The above post is the reason why Pantrinbago took down your post on their Facebook Web Site.
MTTB: Seeing that this is one of your complains( Pan players playing for more that one band, could you clarify this question for me. If a player plays for ten bands for this Panorama Season, is that player entitle to a payment of $500.00 ten times for the season, plus whatever the bands pays that crackshot for performing?
You are quite correct Earl...I was preparing a long, tiring answer for you...But it is too upsetting so to do...Let me just say this...According the old West Indian adage..."Yuh cyah put mongoose to mind chicken"...The people who run Pantrinbago ALL represent competing bands and unfortunately they don't understand fairplay...
Earl: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
The young people in TRINIDAD are choosing THE CRIMINAL LIFESTYLE above BEATING PAN. So there is a shortage of PAN PLAYERS. There are too many FAKE STEELBANDS in TRINIDAD pimping for FREE PNM DOLLARS.
Hope you got the picture, otherwise I can write you a MORE DETAILED EXPLANATION.
But MERRYTONES is right ... PAN PLAYERS competing against THEMSELVES is not a COMPETITION.
Hope you are doing good for yourself? I have a lot respect FOR YOU ... YOU ARE A REAL TRINIDADIAN!!!
Correct is right Claude...
