Panist Oscar Williams has passed

When Steel Talks extends our condolences to the family and friends of panist Oscar Williams, who passed away Thursday April 9, 2020.

Oscar and his brother Tony, founded Belmont Hi Larks Steel Orchestra in Trinidad.  He also played in West Side Symphony; in addition he was a tuner.

A former math student of Clive Bradley, in New York Oscar was a member of Hearts of Steel, and joined the band in their performances on the road J’Ouvert mornings on Labour Day.
