POLICEMEN allegedly involved in a fracas on the Greens at the Queen’s Park Savannah during the Panorama semi-finals on February 5, have been cleared of allegations of using “excessive force”, by the Police Complaints Authority (PCA).

However, the authority which is headed by Gillian Lucky, has called on Commissioner of Police (CoP) Dwayne Gibbs and Director of Public Prosecutions Roger Gaspard SC, to take “appropriate action” against one officer for using “unreasonable force” during the said fracas.

This was revealed in a statement by director of the PCA Gillian Lucky after she earlier said that all police officers were cleared of accusations of using excessive force at the competition.
