OK pan people we have about 50 pan songs for 2012 if you were ask to  pick 5 that you would like to hear in the "BIG YARD" what will they be?  here is my 5. VIBES  [Destra Garcia]  2. here are my choices as a participating composer:  1. chips melody 2.archbishop of pan 3.pan woman jamming. 4. vibes 5. million dollar music.  there are many others that i also enjoy listening to, but these are my top 5. hopefully i will be fortunate to have a band or 2 chose my tune. respect to all composers for their contribution!

Here is my criteria.

What tunes will have the fans singing and dancing?

What tunes embrace the spirit of Carnival?

What tunes would the players love to play?

What tunes would make the other band jealous and wish they had played?

What tunes if done properly would have an imprint on the panorama music landscape forever - even if you don't win?

1. He Madd
2. Vibes Cyah Done
3. Underdog
4. Voodoo Woman
5. Let Pan Reign

I would add that Vibes, Gie Dem Tempo, No Bull, Million Dollar Music, Prophet of Pan and Steel Pan Music are all excellent tunes for panorama. Underdog is the most sophisticated tune of the lot and Pan Away is one of the most interesting. IMHO of course.

Pan Times Bugs only feel he BIG [he chose 8] is you who BIG you chose 13. It's all good IMAO @ IMHO.

i like Pan Times criteria, and their selections.

I've got to listen to the tunes a few times to see which ones stick in my head.

To me the most memorable pan tune in the last decade or so was "Amrit's "Band from Space". The chorus stuck in my head, and I couldn't get it out.

No doubt "Band From Space" is the best pan tune of the decade. No other song comes close. Okay Glenroy where is your 5 picks minus the three I borrowed from you?
