Just look at how many camera angles we have in this video below from 1993. The racks appear not to be no problem. I dare say the audio is even better than the last series of panorama DVD's released from Trinidad by Pan Trinbago. So what's up? We have better technology today but not a better product.

Way back when we didn’t even have high definition and internet or even cable VHS was the way to create memories. Look back at woman on d bass with AllStars in 1980 on YouTube. The sound quality isn’t all there but the video was as clear as ever… You could read the words Ship’s In on the jersey of one of the players. Why can’t we have a credible production…The recording was ttt back in the day.

Bugs: I don't want to contradict myself, since I am not ON THE GROUND. But I get the impression that FILM is making rapid progress down in T&T. The UWI film program is already 10 years old. So I don't think it would be too difficult to put a film crew together to produce a quality PANORAMA VIDEO. I would say that the talent is there. But everything comes down to ADMINISTRATION.
When Beverly takes over and finds PAN TRINBAGO over FIVE MILLION DOLLARS in the RED. I doubt that she is taking the risk to put time and money into a FIRST CLASS PANORAMA VIDEO which might not ever break even. Maybe this administration will start sharing NUMBERS with the public so that we could get a better sense of the economics.
But that is a lot to ask from that culture.

There appears to much truth to what you are saying. We use to have Advance Dynamics making a credible DVD. Now it looks like some fly by night joint has taken over. You're right the talent is there. Four years Justin Lett a serious pannist and member of WST forum made this video below. I'm sure he could produce an awesome Panorama DVD. So you're right the know-how is there.
But how do you market the product if you don't present it properly.
