Steelband action shifts to the sister isle tomorrow as ten (10) steel orchestras compete in the Tobago National Semi Finals at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Tobago at 8:00 pm.
Three Single Pan Bands, five (5) Medium and two (2) Large Conventional Bands take centre stage as they vie for places in the grand finals in Trinidad.
Starting the competition in the Single Pan category is Pan Fantatics with a Chris Tambu Herbert classic “Free Up” arranged by Gerard Balfour. They will be followed by Dem Boys (Band From Space) and Tobago Pan-thers (No No We Ain’t Going Home).

Come Sunday 08th February, North and East Conventional Bands will see panatics heading for the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, for the “Savannah Party” where 30 bands will have their eight minutes of glory.
Two defending champions Phase 11 Pan Groove (Large) and Courts Sound Specialists of Laventille (Medium) will play in positions seven and one in their respective categories.
Single Pan Bands will have its day on Monday 9th at Victoria Square, Park Street, Port of Spain. Twenty five (25) traditional steelbands compete in this round.
