  • More power to them. This kind of cultural exchange is a "good thing" and deserves to be supported. Doh mind that the TTCSE may not be the "best" steelband from T&T.

In a similar vein, I had an exchange with a representative of a Cuban steelband (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDXNwJpTP2U). These guys are obviously talented musicians. Their pans could be improved, I think, but I think that sometimes even for Phase II!

Anyway, I suggested to them that a cultural exchange with T'dad would be a good idea, and promised to try and get the word to Pan Trinbago to initiate something if it fits with their near or long term agenda.

Only trouble is, I don't know anyone in Pan Trinbago. So, if anyone on here has a direct line to Pan Trinbago, I would be grateful if you would pass the word.

I think this Cuban steelband would be interested to visit T'dad. Or perhaps, a Trini group could be hosted by them also,
