Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - The Trinidad and Tobago Group of Professional Associations Limited (TTGPA) has denied claims that it evicted the Woodbrook Playboyz steelband from its former home on Fitzblackman Drive, Woodbrook.
Rather, the TTGPA said on Thursday that it engaged in private discussions with the steelband and made proposals to Woodbrook Playboyz to extend its stay at its former location.
However, it said that the proposals were not accepted, so it was mutually agreed between the parties that the band would relocate.
The band is now located temporarily at the Jamaat-al-Muslimeen compound at Mucurapo Road.
The TTGPA has leased #6 Fitzblackman Drive, where the band was previously housed, since the 1990s from the Port-of-Spain City Corporation.

PAN YARD HORRORS
FROM LAND OWNERS
WHY SHOULD THERE BE
ANY BARRIERS
Uncle Mercer: It eh easy, when ah tell yuh ... PAN IN DANGER!!!
Playboys had plenty time 2 organise that property. In fact 3 tuners occupied that parcel of land 4 over 30 plus yrs & had d opportunity 2 acquire it.One of d tuners allowed Playboys 2 set up there. They have only themselves 2 blame.
POINT TAKEN: But I always say that the FAILURE OF PAN in TRINIDAD and TOBAGO is a lack of ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS from PAN TRINBAGO to the PAN YARDS.
lol, You have me rolling here...... there were give and evection letter.
