Hello Everyone!

I'm Sugar Sheila and I've been playing pan since 1989 at New Vistas Academy in Brooklyn. Through the years I've played with
In NY: Metro, CASYM, Pan Rebels, Invaders USA, Pantonic
In DC: Trini Pan America in DC
In Miami: 21st Century Steel Orchetra

I play tenor and double tenor. I've never been to Trinidad, but hopefully in the next few years, I'll get that chance.
Hey Sheila,

Did you play for Metro when Bradley was there? If so, do you know of anyone who may have recordings of any of those Metro Panorama tunes...I've been trying to get my hands on them for years. Almost every night I'd sneak into the yard to hear the band until one night, Bradley came over and introduced himself...
Hi! I have a new name here - I used to be "Ratty" on the old forum, but since I got married my husband calls me "Lady Raygun" so that's what I am now! I am pannist, teacher, researcher and enthusiast. I publish sheet music for pans, and am now working towards a doctorate in pan at City University, London. Please visit my website on http://www.steelpan.co.uk or visit http://www.myspace.com/rachelhayward to hear tracks from my new album.
Hi Rachel!

How is your doctorate going? I'd love to hear of this exciting project!
I heard you latest CD at Rudy's house - there is some nice stuff on it!

All the best
Sune
Unfortunately, I do not have those tunes but just TODAY Dingolay was posted as an available video! I am so excited and have put out a call for anyone who has Tell Me Why or Dis Melody Sweet.
Hello everyone and Blessed love

hear, hear!
I am a panatic. I grew up in City Syncopators panyard. I saw most of the great panists of the 50s and 60s like Guns, Cobo, Zephryn, Boots, Michigan, Spoongy, Tash, Gunga Din, Rupert and kelvin Hart. I saw them all play jouvert morning. My most memorable jouvert morning was when I saw Ebonites playing their bomb tune 'Roses from the South' on Henry street. After that rendition I was never the same.
HEY SYNCOPATORS,
MY NAME IS BEDE, I AM 64 AND STARTED TO PLAY TENOR ON THE ROAD WITH CITY SYNCOPATORS IN THE 50'S JUST AFTER BOOTS LEFT, WITH TANKER, KELVIN HART AND KENNY HART (DECEASED). I REMEMBERED GUNGA DIN AND TASH IN JOYLAND.
THEN IN THE 60'S I JOIN WEST SIDE SYMPHONY STAGE SIDE PLAYING THE ECHO PHONE JUST AFTER THEY WON THE MUSIC FESTIVAL. LATER ON I JOINED CITY SYMPHONY WITH MICHIGAN (DECEASED) AND SPONGY.(DOES ANYBODY REMEMBERED CITY SYMPHONY PLAYING THE BARBER OF SEVILLE ONE JOUVERT MORNING?)I
I HAVE A VERY GOOD EAR FOR CHORDS AND HARMONY.
MY FAVORITE INSTRUMENT IS THE DOUBLE TENOR AND BASS.
I DO NOT PLAY ANY MORE.
