And it does not seem like a POLICY ATTACK. It seems PERSONAL over PAST EVENTS.

Today, they send MICHAEL COOPER to attack the man!!! But Mr. Cooper refuse to turn up any cards. Just vague references.

So I think that we should hash that out right here on THIS FORUM. As far as my POLLS are showing, the race is between BEVERLEY and BYER. And if they are the people who put all the work in ON THE GROUND -- then it is like TRUMP and HILLARY ... and you have to vote for SOMEBODY in the end.

But I find that ALL THE PEOPLE who so against BYER should come on THIS FORUM and TESTIFY so that we could CLEAR THE AIR.

I mehself have meh OWN PROBLEMS because NOBODY doh want to hire me as a POLITICAL CONSULTANT in THIS ELECTION and that really breaking MY HEART. Keith Byer doh come on THIS FORUM so he doh know my name ... but if he take the chance and HIRE ME as his POLITICAL CONSULTANT -- we sure to win.

Beverley: When nominations day come if NOBODY eh hire meh yet -- I am willing to run your campaign for you because I just want a HAND IN THE GAME even if it 2/7 OFF-SUIT before the FLOP!!!

  • I share Marcus's sentiments.  We just differ with the support for president. But thats cool, because having two good candidates in the race is good for the organisation. It is all a matter of choice.

There are a lot of things being said about both candidates which are not true.

So, according to Marcus, lets Judge the candidates by what they have done for their bands,  their communities and by extension the cultural land escape of trinidad and tobago.

  • Hey Claude: As far as this topic is going, I see no reason for ME to add any 'personal attack' on Keith Byer. As far as I see personally, Mr Byer never striked me as a bad person. I met him around 2009/2010 when he was the manager of Silver Stars Steel Orchestra. Since then we had a cordial relationship and has never passed each other straight. I have no information on any corruption on his path (even though I saw Edwin Pouchet's name in the mix). Edwin has been a father, teacher and friend to me before he died and I didn't hear anything on his end to make me dislike Mr Byer.

With reference to Ms Ramsey-Moore, I have known for the same period of time. I have seen her risen to the executive level of Pan Trinbago  (as Assistant Secretary in 2009), and I've seen her persecuted. Like Mr Byer, I have no evidence or information about any corruption on her path either.

While I am running for a position on the executive independently, I know that there is a question that will burn the heart and mind of everyone on this forum - who the hell is MARCUS ASH gonna support for President of Pan Trinbago in the next election????

Like you Claude, I also see the polls showing favor to both Byer, and Ramsey-Moore in the race. While I do have no issue working with either candidate, my choice is more leaning towards Mrs. Beverley Ramsey-Moore. While she hasn't mentioned ONE plan in her manifesto (which is still to be seen), I believe that she has demonstrated something without even going public that many people have missed....and All you need to do is watch the Katzenjammers Steel Orchestra and you will see the evidence. Since she became the manager of Katzenjammers Steel Orchestra, she has transformed the "Pan Yard" into a VERY lucrative business. Beverley has upgraded the facility to a complex, and opened many businesses with Katzenjammers (a gift shop, transportation company, tourist tours, taxi service, et al) which has made the Steel Orchestra upgraded from a simple "gimme gimme" dependency syndrome, to an institution that can sustain itself with or without Pan Trinbago.

To be honest, Claude, I have heard the greatest say what they will do when they get I'm, and when they do get in it's a whole different ball game they play. At the end of the day, words and promises are only a temporary comfort to the gullible. I rather see what someone has done on their own time and judge them by that!

Right Now, Pan Trinbago's first agenda with the new executive is to alleviate as much of their debt as possible and I believe Ms Ramsey-Moore has the knowledge and experience where BUSINESS is concerned to at least attempt to get PT out of that hole. And it is for THAT reason, why I say that I am LEANING towards Ms Ramsey- Moore.

Again, let me say that I have no issue with Mr Byer, and that my view is the view of MARCUS ASH, and NOT necessarily the view of Silver Stars Steel Orchestra or any other group/organization/team that I work(ed) with.
