Before the size of the large bands were limited to 120 players, bands like Desperadoes, Cavaliers and Harmonites to name a few used to play with way more than 120 players on stage. Now the large bands maximum players is 120. which large band won Panorama with the least amount of players.

I am thinking WITCO 1970 with Margie. They lost a lot of key members after touring NY in 1969 and went back home to win panorama in 1970 with a smaller band than usual..
The answer to this question should be available by a Pantrinbago website, for example, for anyone to research. This should be a very simple answer to anyone who's interested. We still continue to debate one another, with rumshop talk, and nobody actually knows. Where is the info coming from, memory?

Pantrinbago I believe is the best place, or should be the most obvious reference to seek info. on pan.

Good topic Earl. I do not know how many players North Stars had when they won in 1963 and 1964. However, Cavaliers only had 45 players when they rocked town with Melody's, "Melody Mas" in 1965. Lennox "Bobby" Mohamed said to me, "I do not know why people always saying that cavaliers had over 100 players in 1965, all we had was 45."
I do know that Desperadoes won Panorama with only 70 players in 1970.
