Kenneth Clarke was the youngest member of Pan Am Jet North Stars. This picture which appeared in the Trinidad and Tobago Guardian was taken in 1964 on the Queen's Park Savannah track. North Stars would go on to winning their second consecutive Panorama Championship. Mr. Clarke has informed When Steel Talks that although the caption puts him at 10 years old he was actually 9 years old. click for more on Kenneth Clarke “PanAm” says that in this picture, he was standing on a stool to reach the pans. The actual bass stand was made specifically for him; if someone else had to play it, it was collapsible. “I used a stool for years, not a Carib [beer] box, and I still have the last one I used in the sixties,” says Kenneth “PanAm” Clarke.
