I was thinking where would you get an audience sitting on carnival Monday night listening to pan but really things were not as crazy and wild in those days, so I think you are right

Yes, it was a Monday night.

Performances were scheduled for Sunday, Monday and of course Tuesday night.

Now this February 26th Carnival Monday night 1968 in T&T ? I don't think so.

Sorry...my bad. This photo was taken on FEB 26, 1968 at the main bandstand in Port of Spain. Sorry that I can't remember the name of the place but that was 43 years ago.

The Navy Steel Band is at the left front of the stage (the guys in white) the other band is a conventional Air Force Band.

We received a great reception from the audience...we were able to play a lot of the top tunes from the top bands.
