"Ansel, I am not comparing myself to anyone as you state. And i certainly have the right to voice my opinion about the redundant formulas approach repeated in recent panorama arrangements. You are the first person i know who does not recognize…"
"Ansel, Sorry you took my comments so personal. I had no desire or intention of that. For the record I have played in Panoramas starting back in 1989 - that's 23 years ago ! I have hardly been on the steel pan sidelines. I have worked with…"

"We watched on line. The quality of the music and the webcast were outstanding. Big thumbs up to NIU, Liam, Cliff, Funky Freddy III, Barry, and all the students and other musicians that participated. It was great !!"

Bite by the pan jumbie is 1967. Apprenticed to Ellie 1985-1992. Formed my steel band and drum manufacturing company, Trinidad North, in 1989, same year i played with Renegades in Panorma- Somebody. Serious student of all things pan related, especially the history of how and why it all began. Have the utmost respect and love for the early pioneers and what they have accomplished. Believe pan is far from dead and working as hard as i can to promote and advance the atrform that was so beautifully born in trinidad in the 1930's!!
Would love to hear from any and all pan lovers especially those older than me.
