Performance of almost nine year-old Andy Narell as part of the Steel Bandits on 2/18/63.
The concept for this vintage game show was for the panel to guess the secret of the guests. Andy and his friends performed after revealing their secret. Henry Morgan a panel regular was the guest emcee as Gary Moore had the night off. The only regular panelist was Betsy Palmer. Faye Emerson, Dorothy Louden & Gretchen Wyler were the three guest panelists.

Finally some background on THIS PAN GREAT....saw him years ago during Panorama playin for 3different Bands, usin the Same Tenor .....I was astonish ''Who is this White Guy''....now i understand...
True Fact . The Steel Bandits were the Guest Artiste for the Semis of the 1966 Pan Music Festival at Queens Hall in Port Of Spain , Trinidad and they in fact opened the show that night . Apparently they had a sponsor then for they were introduced as " The Graceline Steel Bandits " and during their set up on stage Dr. Ellie Manette was there with them and I later learned that this Band was tutored by him and as Andy said in the Vid this was an idea of his Dad . I think he still has that pan and actually played it on one of his recordings (or at least one from that era).
This is precious history. Andy has been a fabulous steel pan force since then.(1963)
