Classorama is an annual school steelband competition that takes place on the first Friday in July. This year was the first of its kind Friday 4th July at Carnival Village, The Tabernacle, London W11. Classorama emulates the steelband competition called Panorama held annually in Trinidad and Tobago and the UK as part of the Notting Hill Carnival. The purpose of Classorama is to recognise the many excellent school steelbands in the UK that go unnoticed for their wonderful works and achievements in the same way that we recognise sports and other school activities. This event is organised by Steel Pan Trust and sponsored by Carnival Village, British Association of Steelbands and Love Carnival.
