Thanks for posting this important video showing the turbulent beginnings of the steelband. Although, this is nothing to be proud of, it should not be forgotten!

Those days of the steelband wars are a part of our history that should be taught in all schools, along with the tutoring of the steel pan, so that our young ones would appreciate what they have now, and where it all started and the blood, sweat and tears that the early panmen went through to bring this wonderful instrument to this present stage. 'Give Thanks'
