  • Interestingly, 1970 was Margie's year.

    Apart from being the Road March, Despers won Panorama with a Clive Bradley arrangement, Invaders placed third with an arrangement of Margie by Mackie Boyce, and Cavaliers came fourth with this Bobby Mohammed arrangement.

    Starlift placed second with a Ray Holman arrangement of Sparrow's"Pan Man".

    Personally, I prefer this version by Catelli Trinidad All  Stars Steel Orchestra from The Champions (1970) LP....
