Jerome, Lennox and Glen, the following is copied from the liner notes for this CD:
Frank Rollock, director and conductor of the "London All Stars', was born in Trinidad where he first learned the piano. Later, he studied pan playing with Carl Foster and graduated as a virtuoso tenor pan player. He played in many steelbands and formed his own, The Modernaires, at the age of 17. He learnt the art of pan making, tuning and blending with Carl Greenige and brought his expert skills to the UK in 1959. Frank Rollock formed the London All Stars Steelband in 1974.
There is MUCH more, so in summary:

Won England's Panorama Championship 3 times and also the first and second British National Steelband Festival Championship.
Represented Britain at the 1990 World Steelband Festival in Trinida & Tobago.
