Lord Kitchener's classic calypso beautifully describes what it was like to be a pan jumbie in the early years of the steelband.Many of us who were around in those days could relate to this, and this calypso could certainly be called the Panman's Anthem.This video was beautifully put together by our friend who uses the sobriquet of " Is de pan in me".

    Woke up this morning with this calypso by the Grand Master in my head.

    R.I.P Grand Master of Calypso , Aldwyn Roberts , The Lord Kitchener.

    No one could ever construct a calypso, lyrically and musically about pan and the steelband experience like the late Grand Master.

    We miss you, Lord Kitchener.
