  • I was there with Kim Loy in the pan yard -yes very well recorded and historic-good work.

  • Thank you for posting this important video, which demonstrates the first significant attempt to present pan making technology to the world.

    And this was way back in the 1950's, folks!

    I must also mention the brief glimpse of Kim Loy Wong's original Hylanders Steel Orchestra, pre Bertie Marshall.

    This video also shows the poverty that many of us experienced to varying degrees in that post war era.

    Fortunately , many of us were "poor but happy".

     Part of the reason being that were weren't constantly reminded of our poverty by media, particularly television.

    Also, somehow for the most part our parents managed to provide us with our basic needs.

    And so, we who grew up in that time and place still look back fondly at that era.
