"That happy feeling" was a pop hit for German bandleader Bert Kaempfert in 1962. The song was composed by Ghanaian musician Guy Warren in 1956 under the original title "An African's Prayer (Eyi Wala Dong)".From their 1962 album titled "Pan Am North Stars" here is the legendary steel-band with a scintillating arrangement of "That Happy Feeling" that lives up to the song's title

I used to hear Bert Kaempfert sing this song on the radio in NYC, many years ago. It always made me feel good. I had no idea that it was composed by an African musician. It's certainly true that we learn something new everyday. Thank you for posting this.
I was there when North Stars played this tune at the We Beat last night in St. James. Of course Tony Williams was along side the band in wheel chair. Great piece of music!!!
