Theophilus Phillip, The Mighty Spoiler was a calypso original who died way to soon at the age of 34 in 1960.This legendary calypsonian had a unique comedic style, and was rewarded with the calypso crown in 1953.The winning selection was one of his signature tunes, "Bedbug".Here is the 1953 calypso monarch, The Mighty Spoiler and his winning selection "Bedbug"
