I am well pleased with this result. Normally I favor Phase II, but on an emotional level, I liked this performance better. Something about Phase II was a little too plaintive for a Panorama performance -- it's carnival after all! (But Huggins-Watts had the right idea, and turned the plaintive quality of the piece into an advantage with her gospel-like variation -- that had to be the biggest hit of the evening). However, not being a musicologist, I cannot justify my preference other than by ear and emotion. In a music festival setting, Boogsie might well have won on musicality. But Panorama is still a carnival event, after all! Congrats to All Stars!

It is about the music as so many of the experts said an I agree, however the presentation really pulls it all together. I am not sure if that is one of the judging criterion, but the judges are humans and i am sure their eyes played a part in their decision. I agree with the choice for 2011 panorama champs. (Try going to a restaurant and the place is not clean and the food is not pleasing to the eye)

I would like to also say the international broadcast was well done especially visits to the steel-pan theater prior to the band playing on stage. It was well taught out with heavy emphasis on the international audience, not just TnT nationals. - Great job Carnival TV!!!

congrats to all stars. I am not an all stars fan, but they will be always be in the 1st four, because smooth is a very smart man, he stays with the tune, his arrangement is mostly base on chromatic scales so he can never go wrong.

Even tho we may not like his arrangement but he takes the money and run to the bank laughing.
