Hugh Borde's pan legacy, soon to be a movie, has already completed phase one of this epic sized contribution to the movement's development and success, now the Trinidad Tripoli Steelband is breaking into the film industry and is currently in talks with the government of Trinidad & Tobago regarding pre-production.

At this early stage we are also able to offer limited opportunities for private investors and welcome interested parties to contact us. at:  steeldrum@earthlink.net  or   smarty.pants@att.net

Back in the late sixties Borde suggested a Trinidad cruise ship that would take the culture yearly around the world, a real carnival cruise offering all the entertainers of the season on the 'Caribbean Queen'

Forty years later its Johnny Depp that manages to take the world sailing as the Pirate of the Caribbean..something..Sparrow ..no.. not the Mighty..The time has come to employ our talents together and complete the Impossible Mission of sharing our rich inclusive culture worldwide,

Hugh Borde's intro to US audiences via The Ed Sullivan,David Frost, Mike Douglas shows as well as a forty state tour of America with the legendary Liberace which lasted three years, was facilitated by a versatile group of performers which eventually became the Borde's family band who has been touring since 1978 to the present day.
