Bandleaders demand Pan Trinbago elections before Carnival

Trinidad Newsday - ELIZABETH GONZALES

Pan Trinbago President Beverly Ramsey-Moore. -

“Peace, be still,” was Pan Trinbago president Beverley Ramsey-Moore's only response to more calls for her to step down and call an election.

She was responding to demands by a group of steelband leaders for the overdue executive election to be immediately held.

The currrent executive was voted into office in 2018. Pan Trinbago's constitution says an election must be held between September 1 and October 31 every three years.

    • As the saying goes, and the belief is: "Patience is a virtue", and virtue is an innate strength -- a quality. If we say we truly believe in the Most High, and hv faith in Him, then we are to believe that He has the Master plan.
  • ALLYUH either WANT PAN PROGRESS or DOH WANT PAN PROGRESS -- MAKE UP ALLYUH MIND.

Until the leaders STOP PIMPING THE PAN ... PAN HAVE NO ROOM TO PROGRESS!!!

Actually, I am hoping that we move BEYOND VENOM and take some REAL ACTION!!!

  • I would like to know why Newsday printed one of the Bandleaders yesterday was from Desperadoes? Who is this bandleader?  I personally support the call for a Pantrinbago election but Desperadoes did not have a bandleader at Pantrinbago headquarters yesterday speaking on behalf of the orchestra. Stop using the orchestras name!! We do not play those type of games!!

    Lyndon Spencer!

    Operations Officer Desperadoes!

  • “Peace, be still” means SHUT UP!!……..period.
