Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Forty-three preliminary participants in the small conventional steel orchestra category in the 2018 Trinidad & Tobago National Panorama - but only thirty could move forward to the semi final phase this Saturday, January 27. The 2017 champions La Horquetta Pan Groove face off with their twenty-nine challengers for a spot in the finals when they compete in Saturday’s competition, which begins at 1:00 p.m. on Park Street just in front of Victoria Square, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.
Preliminary judges were Soluna Garnes, Joslynnne Sealey, Tommy Critchlow and Michele Dowric.
On Sunday January 28, a total of twenty-eight large and medium steel orchestras will grace the stage at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain in their own semi-final showing.
