“Better late than never” is not acceptable from a business stand point, if what GC said is true...
“Material for drums in March, When tuners wanted those drums in November 2014 to produce pans for panorama, the chap at the outlet said there was none and it is Pan Trinbago to monitor and order the material.”
It will be interesting to get the back-story about the contract for the order/delivery and payment arrangements. We have heard the excuse before “out of stock” but with the right incentive you can get your order delivered on schedule, unless you are locked in an agreement that you have no other option.
This staged event is all about optics. Time is MONEY especially when people's livelihood depends on it.
I am confused. Once upon a time we had a steel mill and today, in the land of steelband and calypso, we are importing steel for pan. I think I am old enough to remember. Did I miss something?

Well, at least Pan trinbago was able to order the material and get it to the Tuners, even tho it was late (better late than never) That's a Plus for Pan Trinbago.
I some how believe the topic of discussion at this point in time should not be about him driving a fork lift, but when is election and the status of the International Pan Conference and Panorama.
With Mr. Diaz's history I am very concerned about all these bands that will be descending upon Trinidad with the expectation that there will be a panorama, that they will be compensated and that certain expenses will be covered, there is a group of young men in Brooklyn preparing with these high hopes, what guarantees are there that Pantrinbago will live up to their end of the bargain.
It is one thing to leave San Fernando, or Sande Grande go to the Savannah then hear that we don't have the funds to pay you but it's another to leave New York, England, Ohio, Sweden or Illinoi, to hear the accommodation are not what we hoped or the transportation cannot be provided.
My advise to all prospective bands wanting to participate in this very wonderful show ( I say wonderful because the idea is wonderful), get your guarantees, know the nature of the beast, don't leap into something because the idea of traveling to the mecca of pan and participate in a panorama cloud your judgment
Yeah, material for drums in March. When tuners wanted those drums in November 2014 to produce pans for panorama, the chap at the outlet said there was none and it is Pan Trinbago to monitor and order the material. Officials spoken to admitted that they were unaware and when informed of the out of stock situation, got going asap to order material. Tuners were informed that arrival will be after carnival and new drums around April,so it was a shopping around at different factories that stored raw materials in drums to get them. Any denial, I am ready for a debate.
This is a PRO Stunt the Mr. President is Pulling. He must remember that you can fool some of the People some of the Times but not All the People All the Time. Maybe He is the Only Forklift Driver Present. Keith and Pantrinbago ''Really Good Yes!!! ''Election Gimmick. Give Us a Break Keith.

The Forklift should be used to remove him from office, since he is so heavy and full of sh--!
Hi folks I thing I need to just elaborate on my comment. I looked at it and I got the impression it may come off in the wrong sense.
Heavy as in the weight that keeps the pan movement down, not his physical weight( I would be the last person to criticize someone for that).
Full of sh-- as in what he does, like this video which is just a smoke-grenade, prevents you from actually seeing what he is doing (nothing).
Keith, the man driving ah fork lift, he is very good at it, after all it's his old job.
