  • Just to correct your information. This was not a Jamaican steelband. Furthermore, in that period in London calypso was definitely not accepted by most Jamaicans. The person in the picture with the tophat is none other than Trinidadian Russ Henderson, one of the main founders of Notting Hill Carnival in the 60's. Much appreciated if you can correct the information associated with this photograph!!
