  • It was certainly great to have our youth carry the torch and it was a pleasure seeing them. However, the ministry of Cultural affairs have to do a better job of providing adequate support for the children and their chaperones when leaving the country. No one should have to come out of pocket for transportation from New York JFK to Maryland, that should have been paid for and included in the transportation arrangements. The buses used to transport to and from New York to MD and return should have been passenger buses with proper bathroom facilities. It is great to see our youth come abroad and represent our island whether it is music or sports but we have got to do a better job at logistics planning and sponsoring when abroad., we (Trinidad) have the money use it properly to support these  kids, they were excited and thrilled and is great to see them absorb the fanfare. adultst.

  • It is a true delight to see the youth of Trinidad and Tobago take hold of the steel pan and spreading the art form globally. Congratulations, kids keep on doing it!

  • Best of luck.
