  • In those days costumes were made by tailors not ordered from China. Also the shoes were made by shoemakers. Carnival was true portrayal not S, M, XX LARGE in a box.
  • Maybe you had to be a certain size to get into the costumes or the big ones were too shy to participate, but for sure the diet today means that costumes have to come in XXXL sizes as well.

  • Those were also the best days for horse-racing at Queens Park Savannah in Trinidad, I believe the band is chipping down the home stretch.

  • Those were the years when slim was in! No fast foods!
