I don't know Mappo,but I go back to the days of our youth when Burch was a tenor pan player with Southern Marines.
An excellent tenor panist, he was a slim dude with a very large (very black) Afro in those days.
That was about the time he started tuning with Milton "Squeezer" Lyons who was also Southern Marines captain back then, in the early nineteen sixties..
Incidentally, Squeezer was a pan pioneer , a master tuner and panist who is rarely mentioned.
He was also an early champion (ping pong) tenor pan soloist.
