Don't flaunt your ignorance ... as far as I'm aware the Tobago Goat Race is held only on Eastar Tuesday, once a year. Furthermore, it should be considered a cultural event, reflecting as it does a long held tradition. Furthermore, as such an event, why should the govt. not provide financial suppport? And could you elaborate on exactly what you mean by"it did much more damage to the area"? Lastly, in whose opinion (other than yours) is it considered "ugly"?
I had hoped to make there for this Easter Tuesday,. but alas, the birth of my first grandson put paid to that plan.
