love this picture this was one of the reasons I hoped to pass my common entrance to attend this school, which i did in 1969. The uniform was great , black shoes and white socks , black and white checkered overall had to be four inches above knee and that hat omg I just loved it.Was very sad when uniform was changed but that's part of progress maybe.I remember walking to town from school and as we all passed Belmont Boys Intermediate there was a wind your skirt and hat will be blowing in the wind it was either hold your uniform down or grab your hat.

Those were the days when school girls was school girls and not school women.
