One of my favorite calypsonians of yesteryear , and one of the funniest ever was the Mighty Cypher. This calypso "Papers" hearkens back to a time when the poor in T&T used newspapers as toilet paper, ant the photos of artists were prominently featured in those papers.Cypher warns the daily newspapers to stop displaying the artists photos in the newspapers, since according to Cypher, "If photographs coulda cry,you woulda only be hearing -pepper in me eye, pepper in me eye, aye aye aye".In case you missed it, at the end he throws a little "picong" at Miriam Makeba who was popular at the time when he says "Carry Makeba...only keepin' a lotta noise wid Pata Pata Pata,,,,,"
