Glenroy, I sure appreciate all the wonderful pan music you share with pan lovers the world over. I am an "Old Solo Man" (circa 68-74) so you make me recall fond memories. We should hook up some time. Peter, (I am trying to put a face with your name) your facts are almost on point. Carly in still in NY. Prengue was a tenor player with the "original" Harmonites. Haven't heard about him in quite a while. But I am not quite sure if Brown tuned pans for the the band the and nor am I sure Renaud is still at Customs. Maybe "Skip" will clarify.

C. Dalrymple:

Skipper Joe Renaud is still very much alive, working at Customs these days.  And Owen Serrette is alive and kicking too.  Tuner Herman Guppy is still busy tuning today at 12 Pashley Street in Laventville, where he was tuning Solp's pans in 1974.  I seem to remember a double-tenor man (Prengue??) , but know nothing about him today.  And Carly, who taught me the tune, Jericho, on tenor, is probably in the US nowadays, but I'm not sure.

I have no words to describe this kind of sweetness, but my body cannot stay still, music jamming, I live in St. Thomas too, so this one for me.
