I think that this was of the best "pan tunes" of the last two decades.Here is The Original De Fosto Himself at the 1995 Soca Monach competition in Trinidad with "Bassline".

  • I just dont think that tune was that good, I need to do some research on what pan tunes came out that year and will get back but I would not say that that was one of the best tunes for pan in the last 20 years.

    And I liked it on pan.

    I'm not talking about panorama tunes, now.

    I mean the type of tune that steelbands have traditionally played at Carnival time on the road.

    It's the type of tunes that could have been a Road March back in the days when the steelband determined the Road March.

    So, yes I'm serious.

    Please explain why you would disagree.
