I like this, anxious to hear the outcome musically, panorama style. The only thing that I have issue with is the name (Shaadi), it means Demon.

I was initially disappointed that the tune is so similar to Sapna.  But the lyrics are great.  I am really looking forward to the band only version.

Ray Holman coming with a melodic arrangement for this tune......reminiscent of his days with Pan Woman and

Tenor Bass............allyuh remember?

This is more than just a "pan song", it's a song that unifies, it brings people together when you pay attention to the lyrics. Compositions are pulpits and the lyrics are the message and the music is the transportation to the ears and minds of the people...I believe whatever Ray does with this song, God will guide his hands!

I love the concept of this song.Anything that will help with the UNITY of my Country is totally acceptable to me.

CURRY TABANCA by Trinidad All Stars made a hit with that Chutney Tune.I think Ray Holman will do well with    THE WEDDING.

Nuff respect for Ray!  Any real musician/arranger/composer must have the testosterone to do the unorthodox ... and he has proven his worth in this regard in the past.  So I'll wait to reserve judgment until I hear the tune.

Nice bounce ... loots of room for the mixing of genres & the merging of percussive instruments. The arranger has to be really creative to make it really local
