  The Lizard brought back memories I was there I played Bass with the band but I can't remember what mass they played and that costume I started with the band in 1967 in the garret in i think it was the Maple leaf club thank for the memory

  In T&T and abroad, as African descendants still have many demons and issues to deal with. Our first response to things African is generally critical while we rush to embrace other cultures.  Nevertheless, it's refreshing to look back, see and appreciate those, if only for Carnival, who wear the colorful clothing of Africa.
