Calling all pannists and steelbands

The Steelpan Store is looking for more pannists to help out.  We, here at The Steelpan Store, strive to be an active part of the steelpan community.  We love to sell products from other pannists in our store.  Do you make your own mallets?  Great, send us some!  Did you design a super awesome folding stand?  Excellent, let us see it!  Do you have a CD available of your music?  Fantastic, let us hear!  Whatever you have, we want to help make it available to other people.

We are also looking for steelbands that would like to possibly gain a little extra money.  The Steelpan Store would love to offer your steelband's CDs for sale in both physical and digital format.  Also, we'll make merchandise available with your bands logo on it!  That's right, you could get coffee mugs, t-shirts, frisbees, mousepads, or just about anything else you can think of with your band's logo on it.

I actually have contacted a handful of bands about this very topic, and have been met unanimously with "no." I am not deterred though and perhaps, like you suggested, if I get pre-orders for shirts and bands start seeing that I am not just talking nonsense, this can happen. I will certainly continue working on this project and will likely do some research soon to look into how many people are interested in something like this.

And I would like to see a source where one can purchase steelband Panorama and Carnival tee shirts.

I'm surprised that someone haven't come up with a way to make tee shirts for the various bands available for fans around the world, especially for events like Labor day, Caribana , etc.

I'm sure there would be a market for them.

For example, my two bands are Southern Marines and Trinidad All Stars, and i would love to have shirts from these bands to sport for the summer. 

However, the only way to get them would be to go to T&T. or have a friend bring them up.

Maybe you can have fans pre order tee shirts to see if the demand is there, before you make arrangements with the bands..

Obviously, the demand would be based on the bands popularity.
