  • Condolences are extended to the Samaroo family on behalf of the Superior Court (formerly Territorial Court) Rising Stars Youth Steel Orchestra.  We are once again truly saddened at yet another loss to the steel pan family of someone with whom we have had such a close and positive relationship during our Orchestra's 35 year existence.  His legacy with our Orchestra will not be forgotten and will continue to serve as a beacon for our continuous improvement.  We will forever remember the love and care that he and his family provided our staff during their many visits to Trinidad to participate and strengthen their musical knowledge and pan-playing skills in numerous Panorama activities.  Additionally, several of our staff members have also served Dr. Jit in their participation with the Renegades - Rabbi, Sean, Tino and Laura.  We will forever be in his debt.  Dr. Jit now joins our beloved Herman Guppy Brown and our own Elvino "Sifu" George in Pan Heaven.  May the soul of Dr. Jit and all the other faithful departed rest in eternal peace.
