It is very sad to hear of the passing of Derrick Timothy.On behalf of The Headley Family I sent my deepest

sympathy to the Timothy Family.As Vice-Leader and arranger of the Esso Tripoli I have had the  pleasure

of being a very close friend of Derrick,He was a polite and generous person,and always willing to give advice

to members.He will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to the Timothy Family. Derrick was one of my close friend with the Tripoli Steel band. We rang each other very often after I left for Australia. He became very religious and became an elder in his church. I still keep in touch of Lennox and Willan.  I am sorry up to this day that the Tripoli family have never got the rewards as being a pioneer in bringing our music to schools  and Universities throughout North America and Canada By the Trinidad and Tobago Government and Pan Trinibago.
