They are: Hady Lee, Curtis Pierre, Billy Carpenter, Joey Ng Wai, Mervyn Telfer, Miguel Barradas, Trevor Cumberbatch, Alfred Toussaint, Lennox Totesaut, Lennox Langton, Russel Valdez, Michael “Natsi” Constant, Angela Christopher and Sonny Blacks.
Other awardees are: Thunderbolt Williams, Sterling Betancourt, Barrie Nanton, Elton “Smokey” John, Cyril “Nick” Boxhill and Zigilee.

BEST OF LUCK, SEION
Like Duvone Stewart (bptt Renegades), Señor Seion Gomez (pictured) has stepped into the big league on Pan. Seion campaigned in the Second Division of pan (Medium category), but has now been given the tough assignment with the Solo Harmonites. Yohan Popwell has been given two bites of the cherry, but failed to deliver. Pan arranging is becoming like football coaching, you either stand, or fall, on your results.

“BOOGSIE” TO EAT AH FOOD
Len “Boogsie” Sharpe will eat ah food in three categories of Pan next year. He has just been given the assignment with single pan band Carib Woodbrook Playboyz.
In Tobago, he will eat some curry crab and dumplings with medium band Our Boys, and his biggest plate will come from his beloved Phase II Pan Groove.
My spies tell me that “Boogsie” has stopped his foolish excursion, and pitbull behaviour with Pan Trinbago, and is getting down to what he does best... music.

WILL MY MUSIC FALL ON DEAF EARS AGAIN
As I said I am glad that some one is honouring the pan men. And thanks for accepting comments but sometimes History is lost if do not remind people of events in one life. Today, I am still trying to get a grant to promote having another proper steel band in Australia. Thanks now to Lennox" Madman" Jordan now lives in Australia to tunes steel drums to have proper steel bands over here. I think due to Lennox Autralia starting to have atleast Seven full time bands and I am hopin for an eight band in Canbera shortly.
YES Courtney Leiba !!!! Esso Tripoli is why i am a panwoman today..... first pan i ever heard and saw; as a child my mom took me to their north american tours back in the day; that band is my First Beloved of pan .....if it wasn't for them i would not be playin now!
Merry Christmas, and all the best.

I STAND CORRECTED
One thing you will never get from the Pan Buzz is that he stands, or sits, on his ignorance; Pan Buzz is not cut from that cloth, and will always be the first to stand corrected. Let me first thank the many people who read the Buzz. You don’t have to agree with me.
-- As a researcher, I get it right; sometimes I don’t, and that’s where readers have to fill me in. It was nice to hear from my favourite, and all-time great scratcherman Courtney Leiba of the famed Esso Tripoli. Courtney - rest assured I have not forgotten the fine work of Hugh (Borde) and you guys.
-- There is this legendary story about my friend Courtney and an incident at Expo ‘67. Courtney was scratching like if ants bite him, and he fell into the St. Lawrence (or is it Hudson?) River. People in the audience started to applaud as if it were part of his act, not realising Courtney was under heavy manners in the water.
-- Now, David de Castro, you don’t have to resort to name-calling. Thanks for the information on Sello Gomes. Thanks a million.
-- Hi there, Diane (Dupre) - thanks for the correction Georgie, not Joey. Diane, I know you and Jean Reid like Despers like cooked food. Once I said Despers were desperate for a Panorama win and was told where to get off. But I still love you two women. If you all want to beat me, I am not fighting back. I taking my licks like a man. But please don’t hit me with a high heel, that’s a weapon.
-- Nice one Trevor (Cooper), a profile on Allan Gervais is long overdue. I am working on it, thanks. I don’t think Len “Boogsie” Sharpe will be happy with “Do Something For Pan.” It was not one of the brilliant efforts.
-- Christmas is a great time to send greetings of good cheer and prosperity. Greetings to all members of the WHENSTEELTALKS family, and the wonderful guys who make this platform possible. Thanks, guys, for the opportunity to serve. And if the Pan Buzz rubs you wrong; don’t take it personal.
I have been seeing my Awards to panmen but I have seen nothing is mentioned of the Tripoli Steel band for playing Nationally on the Ed Sullivan, David Frost Shows, The Las Vegas Circuit, School, College and Unversities through out America and Canada and one and the only band to be nominated for a Grammy Award
@ De Castro....... Sello is my cousin, and I think he did that classic arrangement for Silver Stars! The change key was something else!
You got the arranger of the year sosososo RIGHT
