MURDER AT NAPA. Congrats to Minister Gypsy Peters and the Pan Fraternity for an excellent two night of

glorious pan at NAPA. We were killed with sweet pan. The ghettoes boys traded their guns for pans and murdered us with glorious music. Honourable mention to Tripolians,Desparadoes, KatzenJammers, Invaders, Fonclaire,Exodus, All Stars, LH Pan Groove, Phase II, Laventille Sound Specialist, Renegades, Skiffle Bunch and Silver Stars.

  • Right on, Ian I agree with you 100%.

Especially with the crime and violence situation in T&T such that many expatriates are discouraged from returning home to the land they love.
  • "Murder at NAPA!" "Killed by Sweet music!"
"Ghetto boys traded their guns for pans and murdered us with glorious music!"
You mean that writer could not have used other "analogies".
Who was the editor who signed off on this "ANAL" behaviour. These pannist that performed magnificently may also be some of the same pannist who perform with our National Steel Symphony.
I do not mean to degrade the writer, because I believe that his intentions were genuine. However, we must move away from the subconcious notion that PAN is still some how tie to violence. The Pan Diaspora must always "be up in arms" when anything compromises the integrity of the PAN, Panmen and Panwomen
