Want to learn to plan pan

Any suggestions on how I should go about it??? Not sure which instrument I want to play yet.Help

Just get to a Pan Yard near you and the rest will just fall into place. You may have a choice or if it is a popular band you will be put on a spare pan, but don't worry about all that, get to a yard, listen and observe and when you hear something you like try and pin down what it is. Probably if you sing and can hold a tune you might be directed towards a tenor pan but if you are more receptive to bass notes it might be the middle or bass pans, but good leader will soon know where your main skills lie.
