  • We all have seen the passing of a Legend. He came to Trinidad in 1936 and left us seventy-six [76] years after a much happier people, leaving a legacy, that will forever remain in our hearts and minds. We Thank Almighty God our Creator for lending us such a great Soul as ''Maestro Bertie Marshall. Thanks Bertie for all that you did for us and the joys you left with us.  ''May Almighty God ''Have Mercy on Your Soul.''

  • I was introduced to him whilst being involved with music at Clyde "Lightning" George's Diego Martin Pan Institute, when he visited there at one time. He was a very humble man. May he R.I.P.

  • We have to get into the practise as a people to call our so much loved icons out of their comfort zones and honour them while they are alive and well..on a stage...in front of all their friends, family and well-wishers. I don't know if this was ever done for Bertie Marshall, but it would have been so much nicer if he was wide awake to listen to all those nice acolades spoken over his corpse. Hemay have passed with a smile on is face...

Why do we continue to wait ntil it is too late?

  • May he rest in pease

  • R.I.P. Bertie Marshall
